Nov 22, 2010 Christmas is not quite the same without a bit of Charles Dickens. This hand- painted ceramic model Scrooge house is therefore a great gift idea

The yard was so dark that even Scrooge, who knew its every stone, was fain to grope with his hands. Wanted to add Ebenezer Scrooge's House to our Dicken's Village collection that we've had for over 30 years. Detail in this piece is much more "detailed" that the pieces we've had for all these years. The ghosts "spinning" around in the 2'nd floor room are more than we needed/anticipated, but it adds some "movement" to the village set-up.

As for the location of Scrooge’s home, a good contender is a spot off of Lime Street, the reason for which I’ll explain more later….
